This workout is matchless for sculpting the upper body. Men have relied on it for the past 100 years, and its’ still very effective. It’s a versatile workout that you can do in varying hand placements. You can do it with weights also by using a weight vest. If you want to work your triceps more place your hands in a diamond pattern and perform pushups that way. Try another variations like: turn your hands 180 degrees with your fingers pointing towards your toes. Although it’s bit of an awkward position still it is an awesome triceps workout.
This is another great upper body workout worth doing. Gym trainers call pull ups: ”king of upper body workouts”. The logic they give is that the person doing it uses many muscle groups plus it’s really taxing on your body.
However, pull up is not an easy workout to do. To do a proper pull up you can use different hand placements. Use a wider hand placement with an overhand grip to engage your lats, and use a closer hand placement if you want to target your biceps and flexor muscles. While an underhand grip is used to work your biceps, especially if its a close grip.
Reverse Walking Lunges
It’s in fact a great lower body workout because it is also very taxing on your cardiovascular system. The equipment you gonna use is two 1 gallon milk jugs filled up with water or sand. They’ll play the role of your dumbbells. Choose a nice long path and start doing your reverse walking lunges. Just to make the movement a little harder, take both gallons and push them overhead. From this position hold them at the top and do your lunge variations.
